Isaac J. Rooks

About Me

Isaac Rooks has years of interdisciplinary teaching experience in higher education. Trained in media and communication studies, Isaac’s love of horror films earned him a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. Isaac has presented at over a dozen conferences, and his articles have appeared in peer-reviewed journals, edited anthologies, and popular press publications. A quick study when it comes to technology, Isaac’s training in multimedia production translates into his ability to craft effective instructional aids and teach in different formats. Versatile and adaptable, Isaac has worked in small and large classrooms, and he has experience with administration, mentorship, and curriculum development. Outside of the classroom, Isaac enjoys running, checking out local breweries, and relaxing with his fiancé and their two cats.
